Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Health Care Support Worker to work with the surgical team on Ward 11 at Princess of Wales Hospital. Currently due to a critical incident in Princess of Wales, the ward has been relocated to Ward 18 at Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
The successful candidate will work under direct supervision of a registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of surgical patients care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of patient care including undertaking patient’s vital signs.
The individual will be required to have good communication skills to be able to relate to patients, members of patients families and the multidisciplinary team that work within the clinical area.
